Scooter Safety

We really enjoyed our scooter safety session with the Christchurch City council this week! 

We played some awesome games and learnt about stopping safely. 

We also talked about road safety and where the safest place is to be on the footpath. 

 

T14's Stories

T14 have been writing stories that include a character, a setting, a problem for the character and how the problem was solved. Some of the children decided to publish their stories using the app Book Creator.  To do this they had to check that their pictures matched their story. They did a great job persevering to get the books published.

Te wiki o te reo Māori - Maths

 This week has been Te wiki o te reo Māori - Māori language week. Check out the Moe video practice counting up to 12 at home. 

We used the Book Creator app to make books sharing our learning about counting in Māori. 

We showed our counting in lots of different ways and used materials to show the numbers we were making.
