Tī Kōuka's Treaty

Last week we read The Tree Hut Treaty. 

In the story, the children decided it would be a good idea to come up with some rules for their treehouse that they all agreed on. They called the rules a treaty. We talked about how New Zealand also has a treaty- The Treaty of Waitangi. We decided it would be a good idea to have a treaty for Tī Kōuka so we can all be happy and safe in the studio.

We came up with lots of ideas.

We all then signed our names on a Tī Kōuka leaf and created our 

Tī Kōuka tree.
