We have had fun in Tī Kōuka being scientists.
We have been making predictions, asking questions and observing what happens during our experiments.
Look what happened when we mixed the baking soda with vinegar.
We noticed it made lots of bubbles.
Then we put some raisins in the cup to see what would happen...
Some of the raisins started to rise to the top. Then the bubbles popped and the raisins dropped down again.
We used soda water but our raisins didn't float. One of them didn't have any bubbles at all. We think the soda water wasn't fizzy enough!
Next time we are going to use really fizzy water!
